I'm poor.
Once before I asked for tips on how to save money and eat healthy at the same time...
you know, eating healthy isn't as important to me right now.
Other than ramen, what can I survive off of?
(Don't worry, I love produce, and I could never give up my fresh veggies and fruit. I won't die, I promise)

Protien-

Peanut Butter
Beans (I have dry beans I can give you -doesn't get cheaper than that!) and you just cook them up in a big batch and then freeze them in baggies in serving sizes. You can make burritos, chili, soups, etc.
Carbs can be cheap but they're kinda tricky-
rice
potatoes
You can do what I do for Kirtlan. I buy a loaf of bread and make the whole loaf into pb&j sandwiches and then freeze the loaf. When you leave in the morning grab one and its thawed in a couple of hours. You can even get cheaper by going to the dollar store and buying sandwich containers to reuse. Better for the earth too.
Drink Water- lots of water- soooo cheap!
Concider making a food budget and then cashing out that much money every paycheck. Put some of the money in your room at home and some in your purse and if you have left over money, guess who's going out to eat!?!?

you put in the local grocery store (Macey's, Smiths..) and it tells you everything from their fliers, whether they are good deals or not, and where to find the coupons (and several are print coupons)
I could go on and on. Food in one of peoples biggest money leaks.
