So basically, I am totally, utterly, ridiculously happy being with Adam Loose. Go ahead and all make fun of me. I don't care. I'm too happy to care (and honestly, we're weird...you should make fun of us).
But I thought I would share some pictures from our first date. It was a "blind date"...
as in we were blindfolded.
Adam and I have known each other since Fall '08. The first time he came over, he came with his little brother Carson. My first impression...weird boys. It took awhile, but I eventually got used to the weirdness that surrounded the Adam (and pretty much his entire apartment, actually).
Now I love it, his weirdness that is.
So sometime in September, Adam was teasing me and was trying to tell somebody that we were practically engaged. I declared, "I have never nor will I ever date Adam Loose!"
October rolls around, and I start to like him despite myself.
Sometime during that month (or maybe it was before, I don't remember), I was talking about how I really don't mind blind dates. Somehow we concocted this brilliant idea: A "blind" date, where one or the other is blindfolded for everything. It took awhile to put together, but we got his roommate in on it. The boys planned the activities (which included twister and a walk around campus), and the girls planned the food (we made sandwiches and had ice cream, the boys made their sandwiches while blindfolded).
To add to the craziness... we had this date on Halloween. A few weeks before I snagged my footie pjs (thanks Shelly and Chad) from Mom and Dad's because I knew Adam had a pair. we were cute (see below). The other couple was a 70's couple. It was pretty awesome...but nothing beats Adam in footie pjs with a boxing helmet on for no apparent reason.

So that was Halloween...
We both knew we were just going as friends
Neither of us knew we liked each other
So...
We both kinda gave up in November.
December rolls around, and I want to see the Blindside.
My roommate had already seen it...bummer.
I'm sick of asking random guys I'm not that interested in on dates.
I complain about this to my roommate.
That night, Adam came over just to visit.
All of a sudden, it dawned on me. Take Adam!
So, our second date was earlier this month. I asked him. It was the boring movie and meal.
I'm not as creative.
Slowly through that week, we both came to realize that the other person was actually interested. After the date, we made it official. Later we talked about everything, and had a good laugh about Halloween.
So life is good and Adam is great. You should all meet him.
And stay tuned...more really awesome (or weird, if you are judgmental like Lisa ;) ) dates to come.
